Biography

Julia Sosa is the Principal of LandQwest Commercial’s Orlando office. With over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Julia also the co-founder of the Retailer One on One event, now called RetailLIVE!

At Century Retail in Lakeland, Florida, she served as Vice President of Retail Development. Ms. Sosa was responsible for the leasing of over 50 retail developments throughout the southeast. She worked with the construction department throughout the development process and developed and supervised retail leasing and acquisition departments and devised and implemented marketing strategies to attract major national retailers.

As Vice President of Business Development for Quest Company in Altamonte Springs, Florida, Julia oversaw the leasing of more than 4 million square feet for local and institutional owners with properties throughout Florida and was responsible for obtaining third party leasing, sales, management, and receivership contracts.

Ms. Sosa is a licensed Florida Real Estate Salesperson and an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Chairperson for the WIRRED group (Women in Retail Real Estate Development), Central Florida Division and has served on the board of directors for CFCRES (Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society) for four years.
