MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with documenting & maintaining (Accounting) procedures manual
- Assist with supervision of departmental operations
- Contribute to department’s overall design/structure to achieve goals
- Help to oversee Accounting operations (subsidiaries and control systems, transaction processing…)
- Oversee successful Accounting processes, including:
- Accounts Payables / Receivables
- Collections
- Billing
- Credit Card Monthly Reconciliation & Bill Backs
- Real Estate Taxes
- Rent Charge Ups
- Rent Increases
- Utilities, Mortgages, Taxes, Insurance Tracking
- Timely Utility Changeovers & More
TRANSACTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily (10AM) check deposits
- Timely accounts payables
- Prompt accounts receivables collection
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Timely debt payments
- Chart of accounts maintenance
- Orderly accounting filing system
- Controls over accounting transactions
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and complete financial statements
- Coordinate preparation of corporate and annual reports
- Recommend benchmarks to measure performance of company operations
- Calculate budget variances and report issues to management
COMPLIANCY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
OTHER:
- Strategic utilization of tools including: Yardi Voyager, Quick Books, Re-Leased, Xero
- Annual tenant Charge-Ups (CAM, Taxes, Insurance)
- Monthly Sales Tax processing / submittal to State
