Laura Cari joins LandQwest Commercial as Broker Associate in the Naples office. Laura will represent retailers and medical professionals from Sarasota to Marco Island. This will include the leasing of groundbreaking commercial developments, investment dispositions of existing retail centers, and site selection for select national brands.
Prior to working at LandQwest Commercial, she was a Broker Associate at Equity Inc., where she participated in representing Sandalwood Square, Rail Head Industrial Park, Imperial Bonita Plaza, Palm Pointe Shoppes, Lake Osprey Plaza and The Shoppes of Port Charlotte, amongst others. During her time at Equity, Inc., Laura successfully participated in negotiating over 65 lease transactions along with industrial condo and retail strip center sales which totaled in $9,719,000.
Laura segued into the industry after working at a southwest Florida real estate law firm for nine years. Her skills include: understanding of contracts, real estate transactions, negotiations and Florida Statute. She was soon introduced to residential real estate investments. Laura worked with a real estate investor as a marketing and acquisitions manager where she eventually became a residential listing agent. In her very first year (2017) in commercial brokerage, Cari cooperated in 37 lease and sales transaction all across Florida.
Laura is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Woman (CREW), Commercial Investment Professionals of Southwest Florida (CIP), and is a candidate of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
