Laura Cari entered the commercial real estate realm in 2016 and joined LandQwest Commercial’s Naples office in 2019. She represents retail, office and industrial professionals across all of Southwest Florida, inclusive of the leasing of groundbreaking commercial developments, investment dispositions of existing centers and plazas, and site selection for select national brands.

Prior to working at LandQwest Commercial, she was a Broker Associate at Equity Inc., where she participated in representing Sandalwood Square, Rail Head Industrial Park, Imperial Bonita Plaza, Palm Pointe Shoppes, Lake Osprey Plaza and The Shoppes of Port Charlotte, amongst others, and still continues to represent many of the same plaza owners today. In her first year in commercial brokerage, Cari cooperated in 37 lease and sales transactions all across Florida and in her second year, she successfully participated in negotiating over 65 lease transactions along with industrial and retail strip center dispositions totaling almost $10M.

Laura segued into the industry after working at a southwest Florida real estate law firm for nine years, which equipped her with an in-depth understanding of contracts, real estate transactions, negotiations and Florida Statute. She was then introduced to real estate investments. Laura obtained her real estate license and worked with a residential real estate investor as a marketing, acquisitions and dispositions manager before transitioning into commercial real estate.

Laura is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is an Ambassador Volunteer to the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. She is also pursuing the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, has completed all necessary coursework, and anticipates “sitting for the pin” in 2023. She was elected to the Board of Directors of the Southwest District of the Florida CCIM Chapter in 2021.
