Biography

Rachel Herrick joined the LandQwest Property Management Team in 2019. Rachel relocated to Fort Myers, Florida in June 2019. Before moving to Florida, Rachel grew up near Cleveland, Ohio. Rachel got her
start in Accounting at a medical sales company in Virginia Beach where she worked for over 5 years doing Accounting and Payroll.

 

Before working in the accounting field, Rachel gained experience in customer service, logistics, and management. Rachel graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis.

 

In her current role as Accounting Specialist, Rachel is responsible for collecting rent from tenants, processing and posting rent checks and ACH rent payments, resolving any inquiries about rents, taxes, lease terms, security deposits and lease renewals or terminations. Rachel also assists property managers with any move ins and move outs for her properties as well as managing the general ledger, preparing monthly financial packets, and creating rent and delinquency statements for tenants. Rachel’s responsibilities also include Accounts Payable duties such as reviewing and coding invoices, tracking property utilities, calculating and reporting monthly sales tax to the IRS, collecting insurance certificates and W9s, and assisting property managers with property projects.

 

In addition to bringing over 5 years of accounting experience to the company, she brings a positive and professional attitude, dedication and hard work ethic, detail-oriented organization, and great attention to detail. Rachel enjoys being challenged and always learning new things and is happy to be part of the company!
